My life’s passion is music. From creating clean and dynamic acoustic guitar tracks & full-band sounds for songwriter demos, to providing live & on-line guitar lessons for guitar players looking to sharpen their playing skills, JLMusic is about bringing the power & joy of music to people/is about helping people to to bring their(the music in their head) music to life. About Me
Born in southern part of Finland in a small city called Lahti, it all started with love for rock music when a (long-haired) friend taught me a few tricks on his Stratocaster. That small spark grew over time, pointing me in to music education../ I educated myself as a musician and have worked as a professional live musician, naturally gravitating toward songwriting as well. Music production is an area I excel at and I have found myself thoroughly enjoying putting my experience and skills together to support other songwriters and guitar players to pursue their talents as well.
Purpose
Working a lot with other songwriters, I have discovered some are super musical, while others focus more on lyrics and melody and/but less on instrumentation. Here I have found a growing sense of purpose. Providing polished demo tracks for writers helps them build momentum when pitching songs. The same applies for guitarists looking to (speedway their way around the fretboard/speedrun their guitar learning journey) improve their playing skills. When each makes progress it provides a boost and speedway for their artistic endeavours and this gives me energy!
